Now if you want a pendant that is different how about this one!
An Irregular, organic shaped pendant, hand sawn from Eco Silver sheet with a small piece soldered across the middle hole! The silver sheet has then been hammered and textured like the marks across a sandy beach! A MASS of different sized molten silver pebbles have been added, some round, some flat,, some tiny, some larger! There are also 2 golden pebbles of Recycled 9ct Eco Gold, one flattened one a ball, both shiny and gorgeous like the sun!
The inspiration for this piece has come from where I live! As I often walk down the beach in Polzeath, there are Rock Pools, Shells, and piles of Pebbles, with the sand beneath marked with ripples from the tides.
A beautiful shiny Silver bail attaches at the top for the Sterling Silver Ball Chain to feed through.
Totally Handmade by me in my Cornish workshop and I’m a member of the Guild of Jewellery Designers.
Comes in a Recycled gift box with a pretty bow..
What is ecosilver?
Eco-silver is a green alternative to sterling silver. Though a bit more expensive it has the same silver content as sterling, but is made of 100% recycled and scrap silver products. Eco Silver can be both treated and worked with in the same way as silver, for the same quality results but is more environmentally friendly. Produced from scrap jewellery, medical equipment, electronics and giftware, all the eco silver I use comes with a certificate of authenticity and is hallmarked if it is the required weight.
What is ecogold?
Ecogold is recycled gold that’s been recycled back via a traceable process into fine gold. The feed material for Ecogold comes in the form of scrap from market sectors such as the jewellery, giftware, medical and electronics industries.
For potential source material for Ecogold, written proof must be supplied confirming that it is not from a mine or from fine gold that has not previously been recycled.
